Finally uploading stuff

Hi guys,

I finally started putting in all the recipes of the aliquot brewery and the few i had from teaspoon. I take the occasion to put on the logo.

cheers

secondary fermentation under way....

The cider mash was filtered using a washing bag - worked perfectly! It's now going through the secondary fermentation. To my amazement it actually tastes like a dry cider, albeit a sour, bitter one. I think that all the sugar has been processed by the champagne yeast. I'm considering adding apple juice to bring up the alcohol and make it sweeter. any thoughts???

The Badger Blog

Aliquot's Blog

Hi guys, I'm blogging for the first time in my life.

At aliquot, we're trying to rescue Mar(io)zen. The fermentation is finally completed, and it smells a bit better (I didn't taste it though). To be on the safe side, I put roughly 10 g of Spalter to dry hop it for a couple of days, and bottle it wednesday.

For Mangled guys, I have this Spalter in actual flowers, it smells wonderful, in case you want some.

Allegro con brio!

Production starts at Casa del Wood Brewery

A primary fermentation of an apple cider is underway at Casa del Wood Brewery! Before getting into the particulars of the brew, we would like to thank the Bald Brain Brewery for automotive assistance, the Aliquot Brewery for various brewing supplies, and the Mangled Badger Brewery for relentless encouragement (harassment) to brew. We would also like to thank the Lund Brewing Guild in general for the planning and brainstorming which went into the first cider. The apples used were collected during The Great Apple Heist of 2009 and stored at minus 20 until this weekend.
